Finally, 34 central banks & regulators recognize the vulnerability of financial systems to climate related risks in a new report out yesterday. “It falls squarely within the mandates of central banks and supervisors” to ensure financial resilience it says. Of course climate change is a source of financial risk, how can it not be when we are heading for a 3°C but planning to build resilience for 2°C? Duh!
