Measuring, managing and mitigating the threat from climate change
Climate change will continue to reshape every aspect of the global economy, from politics to migration, financing and supply chains. This summit will bring together policymakers, business leaders, investors, insurers and scientists to discuss how organisations are preparing to adjust, and what more they should be doing. Over the five days, participants will discuss how to respond to the challenges they face around physical and transition risk.
| Catch CWR at the event! We are on a panel to talk about the impact on sovereigns from coastal threats and we will be moderating a discussion on physical climate risks.
CWR’s Dawn McGregor is moderating this panel with the Environmental sustainability policy and innovation director, Asia Pacific, PepsiCo; Chief sustainability officer, Asia Pulp and Paper; and Chief executive, Climate-KIC Australia. Find out which industries will be most affected by physical risks, how businesses should measure these impacts and practical steps to adapt for these changes. In conversation about… Climate risks to sovereign risk (Dec 4, 4:00-4:40pm) Dharisha Mirando, lead author of the new CWR report series, will be talking about the impact on sovereign credit risks from clustered coastal threats with the Head of Bank for International Settlements office for Asia and the Pacific and Executive director, South East Asian Central Banks (SEACEN) Research and Training Centre. |
CWR is also a supporting organisation of the conference
