Qingdao, China – China Water Risk moderates panel at BNP Paribas’ 18th Annual China Conference. 175 investors (from 112 institutions) attended the conference which main forum started on 12th October 2011 with a presentation program that ran for 2.5 days featuring a main plenary and two corporate tracks with 63 keynote, guest and BNP Paribas speakers. Running in parallel, the 1-1 Corporate Meetings programme hosted 120 listed and unlisted corporates, with a total of 739 meetings conducted.
The panel discussion moderated by China Water Risk at the conference was “Liquidity Constraints: Managing Water Risk in China”. Topics discussed covered physical scarcity constraints, pricing of water, competition for resources including water in the future and its implications on food and energy security.
