Leveraging Investments and ESG Frameworks to Build Water Resilience

CWR’s Dawn McGregor will be speaking at World Water Week 2022 Sustainanalytics’ track “Leveraging Investments and ESG Frameworks to Build Water Resilience”.

Investing can influence the global water agenda through investment flows, strategies, engagement programs, research, and data. ESG data enables investors and companies to identify, measure and manage environmental, social, and governance-driven risks and opportunities. Sustainalytics provides high-quality, analytical ESG research, ratings, and data and working to create comprehensive approaches on thematic issues such as water. Recognizing the complexity and contextual nature of water and the urgency of systemic action, we have designed multi-stakeholder and multi-regional sessions that will address risk, impact, and thematic investing strategies as well as corporate water management best practices.

A multi-stakeholder roundtable will be followed by case study presentations, capturing the Electric Vehicle supply-chain from a water perspective (from lithium mining, through semiconductors, to TESLA proxy voting). In the last segment we organised three breakout sessions to collect active ownership, risk management and innovation solutions from around the globe.
