CWR will be attending the HKGFA Annual Forum 2025 in Hong Kong. 

Hong Kong Green Finance Association (HKGFA) is thrilled to announce the Eighth Annual Forum titled “Navigating Climate Finance and Geopolitics: Strategies for Transition” to be held on Monday, 8 September 2025. We are expecting the active engagement of over 1,500 attendees this year, comprising policymakers, regulators, financial institutions, businesses, and civil society representatives from Hong Kong, Mainland China, Asia, and beyond. This diverse group of participants will join us both in-person and virtually, contributing their valuable insights and expertise to the forum.

This year’s Forum will kickstart the Hong Kong Green Week, the Forum will assess the serious disruption to the COP30 agenda, challenges of rising headwinds against the climate agenda, from trade wars, supply chain disruptions, to global protectionism, and discuss the current state of play of the climate transition. Discussions will encompass the practical aspects of achieving a net zero transition, managing climate risks in the context of these macroeconomic trends and geopolitical trends.

The Forum focuses on sustainable finance product innovation, bringing clarity to a fast-evolving landscape to address the challenges, opportunities and risk as economies in a new climate normal. Participants gain access to a network of key leaders in sustainable finance, financial regulators, government bodies, potential new partnerships, and actionable insights to drive profitable impact.
