Hong Kong Exchanges and Clearing Limited (HKEX) is hosting its inaugural HKEX Green Asia Summit (GAS) on 9 December 2021 to examine Asia’s net-zero journey. This event is supported by the Hong Kong Monetary Authority and the Securities and Futures Commission.

Having the Chief Executive of HKSAR Carrie Lam as the keynote speaker, HKEX GAS 2021 brings together CEOs, policymakers and sustainability experts from across the globe and in Asia, to share their insights on the role of capital markets in supporting the transition to a low-carbon and sustainable economy, and discuss how participants can collectively leverage opportunities presented in the fast-changing technology and regulatory landscape in driving the climate agenda forward.

CWR’s Debra Tan will be sitting on the panel “Society Disrupted – Shaping our Future” (2:10 pm – 2:50 pm HKT). Other panellists include George Chen (CEO & Co-founder of Ecoinno H.K. Limited) and David Yeung (Founder & CEO, Green Monday). The panel will be moderated by Grace Hui (Head of Green and Sustainable Finance, HKEX).
